White mulberry

White mulberry is a representative of the numerous mulberry family. Although its fruits are commonly considered insipid and unfit for consumption, it is the one that has been leading the way in herbal medicine.

White mulberry roots have long been used to treat diabetes and upper respiratory tract infections. The leaves, however, are a delicacy for silkworms. From their cocoons, silk is obtained. White mulberry leaves are rich in numerous active substances.

The most important ingredient is triterpenoids that exhibit strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, capturing free radicals responsible for premature skin aging. Together with phenylflavone derivatives, triterpenoids have the ability to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of melanin, the natural pigment of human skin. This results in the whitening of skin lesions such as freckles, scars, acne lesions and other unsightly discoloration within the non-haired skin. Additional ability to enhance cellular activity accelerates tissue regeneration in its natural color.

Organic cultivation of the raw material ensures their extreme gentleness and makes it possible to use the products within the skin of the face and breasts.
