Oats are an annual plant with a multitude of uses, so far appearing mainly in the food industry. However, for a long time it has also been a valued cosmetic raw material. Oatmeal has gained recognition not only as a dietary product, but also as an excellent material used for skin packs with outstanding regenerative effects.

Oat content in cosmetic preparations ensures optimum tightening and a fairly lasting firming effect on sagging skin. Applied to the eyelids, it successfully enables them to be lifted, reducing signs of skin aging.

The astringent mechanism of oat action is based on its shrinking as it dries out. Closely adhering to the skin, the oats stretch the skin while giving it the effect of exceptional firmness.
