Hibiscus

Hibiscus (INCI: Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis) is an ornamental plant otherwise known as Oxalis Ketmia, Canberry Florida or Chinese Rose or Sudanese Mallow. It is a large flower with fleshy petals, which, when dried, can be used to make a fruity drink or warming tea. The popular color of hibiscus is extremely intense red or purple, but it can also come in shades of white, pink, yellow, cream or blue.

Khibiscus wind is famous for its many beneficial medicinal properties. For years it has been readily used not only as an ingredient in natural cosmetics, but also in cooking and medicines.

The hibiscus flower in its calyx contains valuable for health vitamins (especially vitamin C), calcium, organic acids: hibiscus, citric and malic, and mineral salts, and its extract is a rich source of natural antioxidants. The leaves of the hibiscus flower are rich in m.in. in fiber, sterols and carotenes. Natural cosmetics primarily use extract and oil made directly from hibiscus seeds.

Hibiscus makes the skin more elastic and strongly moisturizes, soothes irritation, visibly reduces wrinkles, smooths and evens skin tone, firms, smooths and softens the skin, effectively fights free radicals, thus delaying the aging process. Accelerates the process of cell renewal, helps rebuild the natural protective layer of the epidermis, strengthens fragile blood vessels and prevents the formation of so-called "spider veins".
