Jojoba is an evergreen, shrubby plant native to Central America. A characteristic feature of jojoba beans is their high content of fats, up to half of their composition.
Jojoba has been a subject of vital interest in the cosmetics industry for some time, thanks to which its unique care properties have been popularized. The use of jojoba supports and strengthens the natural lipid protective structure of the skin. This happens due to the property of jojoba similar to the structures of wax esters, which are an important component of the protective film. This makes it possible to replenish the deficiencies of the lipid layer through supplementation with an equally natural ingredient such as jojoba.
Jojoba is also a source of vitamin E, which is an excellent antioxidant. Its action is to neutralize free radicals that destroy the skin's antioxidant system, thus causing faster aging and intensifying the appearance of defects such as wrinkles and sagging. The use of jojoba, therefore, helps to maintain the skin's normal structure, vitality, and youthful and attractive appearance. It is also excellent at improving the skin's firmness, elasticity and resistance to harmful external factors.
