Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter is one of the most valuable natural fats. It is obtained from cocoa fruits from Ivory Coast, Ghana, Ecuador and other Theobroma cacao tree plantations.

Cocoa butter has the consistency of traditional butter, with a characteristic crispness at cold temperatures and fluidity above 35 degrees Celsius. With its light yellow color, it is characterized by a distinctive cocoa aroma and delicate taste. At the same time, it contains a high concentration of free fatty acids such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid and plant sterols. This composition makes little cocoa biocompatible with human skin. This means that the above-mentioned compounds are quickly absorbed and incorporated into the structure of the epidermis. While doing so, the skin becomes properly moisturized and lubricated.

Cocoa butter has found its way into many cosmetic products. However, they are most often found in bath lotions and body lotions accompanied by lanolin, which further facilitates penetration into the skin. Finally, it is worth emphasizing the importance of the smell of chocolate in improving mood, which can put you in a pleasant state of serenity.
