The willow tree is characterized by particularly lovely pink flowers. This durable plant with undoubted ornamental qualities was once considered a medicinal agent, and some of its parts are even used for consumption purposes. Today, however, it is valued primarily as an ingredient in cosmetics with a wide range of applications.
The leaves of the willow-root are rich in tannins, pectin, as well as vitamin C. Willow is used to treat skin diseases. It effectively fights acne, pimples, but also eliminates m.in. inflammation of hair follicles. An important property of the plant is the natural prevention of excessive sebum production.
Willow regulates the activities of the skin, of which a particularly important one is against epidermal hyperplasia. Thanks to this property, the leather retains its natural smoothness and proper structure. The willow plant is also invaluable in combating dandruff. The vitamin C content makes willow an excellent ingredient in agents that delay the appearance of signs of skin aging, thanks to its antioxidant activity.
It is also impossible not to add that the extract of the willow kiprzyca is a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent.
