Chamomile

Chamomile is rich in soothing substances. It contains chamazulene - a substance with outstanding soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as bisabolol, which is attributed to anti-allergic effects. It is the most important active ingredient of the chamomile flower, a plant belonging to the asteraceae family.

Chamomile essential oil contains about 45% bisabolol. It is a colorless liquid with a characteristic pleasant odor. The active ingredient of the plant shows antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. Protects against irritation, formation of inflammatory lesions and promotes healing of these conditions.

Due to their soothing properties, products with bicabolol are recommended for the care of infants and people with sensitive skin, prone to allergies and irritation. On its own, it does not cause allergic reactions, which can happen when using a full extract with all the active substances of chamomile.

Due to its inhibitory effect on the proliferation of the epidermis and sebaceous glands, bizobolol is increasingly a part of the therapy of acne and psoriasis lesions.
