Birch oil

Birch is a tree once dominant throughout Europe. Today in Poland it is still one of the most common deciduous trees, which can be found both in the mountains and in the lowlands.

Essential oils extracted from the birch bark have a mildly sudorific effect, and are recommended for certain skin conditions, such as psoriasis, seborrhea and juvenile acne.

Active components of birch, such as vitamin E, and phalvonoids regenerate and correct the skin's natural protective barrier, ensuring its proper hydration. Thanks to the presence of tannins and saponins in birch leaves, it has antiseptic, cleansing, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.

Birch is an excellent ingredient in preparations for the care and regeneration of oily, impure skin. It also has whitening properties for freckles and spots, caused by improper distribution of pigment.
