Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil is obtained by cold-pressing jojoba seeds. This interesting plant native to Central America has gained great popularity as an ingredient in numerous skin and hair care products. Jojoba oil is an extract of the seeds of this plant and thus the essence of all its beneficial properties. The name of the substance is customary and rather inaccurate, since jojoba oil is actually a wax with a liquid-like, oily consistency. It is characterized by a golden color and a very pleasant, delicate fragrance, also gladly used in aromatherapy.

The essential property of jojoba wax, also popularly known as oil, is its ability to regenerate the skin's natural lipid protective structure, which is made possible by its similar chemical properties to the sebum that builds it up.

Jojoba oil is a raw material rich in significant deposits of vitamin E. The primary function of this ingredient in cosmetic applications is to combat free radicals responsible for destroying the antioxidant structure on the surface of the skin. Thus, antioxidants help inhibit the occurrence of skin aging processes and the development of already existing signs such as wrinkles and sagging, while providing the skin with optimal hydration and a soft, smooth and healthy appearance.
