Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in human skin. Is a natural component of the intercellular matrix of the skin. It is a polysaccharide, or complex sugar, which is characterized by exceptional water absorption and the ability to bind water in the epidermis.

As we age, its amounts decrease, the skin thus loses its ability to bind water, which in turn is the direct cause of wrinkles. The effect of using cosmetics with hyaluronic acid is to protect the skin from drying out and sagging. This acid can also fight free radicals, which are responsible for cell death and the skin aging process.

Provides an effective protective barrier against adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds and harsh sunlight. It is not recommended to use cosmetics with hyaluronic acid at minus temperatures.
