Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a group of chemical compounds, of which the most significant properties for the human body are shown by tocopherol, also called - due to its characteristics - the elixir of youth. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, with properties similar to vitamin C. Also stimulates the synthesis of collagen, thus preventing m. in. formation of wrinkles.

It has been proven that vitamin E has an excellent effect on maintaining the normal structure of hair, which makes particularly valuable therapeutic and hair care preparations with its content. Also vitamin E's share is to fight free radicals that disrupt the skin's antioxidant system. This effectively stops its excessive aging process.

An important property of this substance is the formation on the surface of the skin of an effective, impermeable barrier to the effects of the operation of UV rays. Thus, it helps to prevent sunburn, but also relieves the consequences of burns that have already occurred.

It is also difficult to overestimate the anti-inflammatory properties of vitamin E, as well as its ability to maintain proper skin tone and hydration. In addition, cosmetics with vitamin E visibly improve the structure of the skin surface, providing it with the desired smoothness and elasticity.
