Pro-vitamin B5

Pro-vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid, is a well-established ingredient in cosmetic skin and hair care. Since provitamin B5 in its original form is characterized by relative impermanence, its derivative, panthenol, is used in the cosmetic industry, which, after penetrating tissues, is converted back into pantothenic acid.

Panthenol has a healing effect, soothes irritation and perfectly moisturizes the skin. Panthenol has no allergenic properties. Cases of allergy to this substance are not known so far. Vitamin B5 easily penetrates into the skin, hair and nails. Efficiently reduces water loss through the epidermis and moisturizes the skin, giving it softness, elasticity and the desired firmness.

Dowing to its ability to stimulate cell division, it has a healing effect and regenerates defects in the epidermal tissue. Panthenol promotes wound healing and reduces scarring. Thanks to its revitalizing effect on the lipid barrier of the epidermis, after just one week of use, the skin shows improved hydration and excessive flaking is completely minimized.

Panthenol is a remedy recommended for the treatment of sunburns and irritation after shaving and depilation. Neutralizes redness and itching or burning of the irritated area. Vitamin B5 is known as a reliable means to strengthen the hair and thicken its fiber, while giving it shine and preventing split ends.
