Sesame oil

Sesame oil is the product of cold-pressing sesame seeds. It has a characteristic dark yellow color oscillating towards brown, showing a pleasant aroma and a nutty flavor especially appreciated in oriental cuisines. Until now, sesame oil has been used primarily in culinary applications, but a thorough understanding of its properties has allowed it to be used effectively in the cosmetic industry as well.

Sesame oil can be successfully used as a body oil, massage oil and as a bath ingredient. Its properties make it an optimal cosmetic for the care of dry, mature, combination, sensitive, as well as poorly circulated skin.

Importantly, sesame oil also shows protective properties in the prevention of sunburns. Produces a natural film on the surface of the skin, reducing the effects of excessive ultraviolet radiation.

Sesame oil also has a warming and cleansing effect on the body. It is recommended for sebum secretion disorders, helping to regulate the activities of sebaceous glands. Interestingly, as far back as the Indian tradition, sesame oil is known as a great remedy for smoothness, shine, elasticity and exceptional beauty of the skin, which is also confirmed by the modern practice of effective use of the oil in skin care preparations.
