ECO-BIO Certificates

In conventional cosmetics there are only a few percent of substances that work on the skin. Natural ingredients in cosmetics MACROVITA account for up to 100%, and very often 90%, 98% or 99% of the! Most of our ingredients come from organically grown crops supervised by professionals and certified organic, such as ECOCERT.

Each of us uses cosmetics every day, and when buying them, many people look mainly at their price. However, it should in no way be an indicator of the quality of the preparation. We should pay attention first and foremost to the safety of the cosmetic and its effectiveness, for which we de facto buy the cosmetic in question. It misses the point to buy a cheaper cosmetic with which we will not achieve the intended results of care, and which in addition may harm us. Therefore, we should pay attention to the composition of the cosmetic. However, it requires a lot of knowledge.

In this regard, we are bailed out by organizations that certify natural cosmetics and the ingredients from which they are made. The certificate confirms the organic "purity" of the cosmetic or plant-based raw materials used in its production. Buying such cosmetics, we can be sure that the product was made from the best ingredients, with ecological standards or in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and fair trade. Therefore, it is worth choosing a certified cosmetic or a natural cosmetic containing certified ingredients. Plant raw materials with the ECOCERT label were produced under supervised organic cultivation, and no chemical pesticides or fertilizers were used in their production (permissible m.in. green manures, compost, manure), and have not been tested on animals. For example, most of the plant raw materials used in MACROVITA cosmetics are just ECOCERT certified.

Below is the ECOCERT organization. It certifies ingredients also used in the production of cosmetics MACROVITA.

ECOCERT is one of the first independent certification organizations to set standards for natural, organic and ecological cosmetics. The headquarters of the association is located in France. This certification divides cosmetics into two groups: natural cosmetics - At least 95% of the raw materials must be natural, and min. 5% of raw materials and min 50% of plant substances must come from organic cultivation (certified organic ingredients) organic and ecological cosmetics - At least 95% of the raw materials must be natural, and min. 10% of raw materials and min 95% of plant substances must come from organic cultivation (certified organic ingredients) For both groups, the other criteria look the same. This means that these cosmetics must not contain genetically modified substances (GMOs), parabens, silicones, PEG emulsifiers, artificial fragrances or dyes, must not contain petroleum derivatives and ingredients of animal origin (except for those produced naturally, e.g. milk, honey, etc.), and must not contain any ingredients of animal origin.).
