Calendula oil is a rich source of carotene and contains many active substances, such as triterpene saponins. They provide the oil with bactericidal and healing properties and have the ability to protect the skin against inflammation.
The oil is recommended for rough, cracked and irritated skin due to its strong moisturizing, softening and anti-inflammatory properties.
